Required Skills Basic accounting knowledge.
Understanding of industry benchmarks in accounting best practices.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet.
Establishing general ledger accounts.
Developing standards.
Data entry.
Deep understanding of accounting principles.
Confidentiality.
Attention to detail.
Comfortable dealing with huge volumes of complex data.
General Job Responsibilities The Xpress Copy & Graphics Bookkeeper is responsible for recording daily financial transactions and maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying for each store in Quickbooks.
Will monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist the owners and managers in making strategic decisions.
Will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of the cash register at the Xpress location and making bank deposits.
Will manage collections of past due accounts.
Will run weekly and bi-weekly payrolls.
Will be the liaison to the accounting group.
Accounts Payable/Receivable Will be responsible for all accounts payables and receivables for each location.
Will be responsible for working with managers and helping collect accounts that are 60 or more days past due.
Financial Reporting Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting information.
Responsible for providing weekly financial and sales reports assisting the owners and managers in forecasting.
Taxes Will be responsible for the monthly sales tax filing for each location.
Customer Service (internal and external customers) Effective and timely communication.
Communication should be clear, concise, and effective.
This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial concepts and be able to apply them in a practical setting.
Strong communication skills are also important for collaborating with internal teams and providing financial information.
