- Oversee and coordinate the daily custodial operations of the facility - Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming - Maintain and care for floors by buffing, waxing, and polishing - Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas, including restrooms, offices, and common spaces - Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment inventory - Train and supervise custodial staff members - Handle any maintenance or repair issues related to custodial equipment or facilities - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles preferred - at least 2 years experience - Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures - Ability to operate custodial equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment - Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff members and other departments
