To Bring Restoration to Lives Destroyed By Addiction Our Vision:
Christ-Centered Addiction Restoration Services (CARS), is a VA corporation 501(c)3, that has been established to provide weekly support groups in multiple counties to support those in active addiction as well as their support systems.
We also venture to own and operate long term nurturing and recovery homes for men and women who are struggling with risky, habitual, and debilitating behaviors surrounding the use of alcohol and drugs.
EQUIVALENT EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in the human services field dealing with issues and challenges unique to substance abuse.
Specific knowledge and experience with Christ-Centered Twelve Step philosophy, addiction and recovery, and non-disease models is preferred.
A degree in Social Work, Biblical or Professional Counseling or Business Administration would be looked favorably upon.
Requires CPR and First Aid training within ninety (90) days of employment, re-certification as necessary.
Must have a valid Virginia Driver's License and pass a background check.

Summary:
Is responsible for the overall development and direction of the program/curriculum for those who struggle with substance abuse Coordinates program requirements with other operational areas and has overall responsibility for the supervision, development and motivation of staff--both paid and volunteer Helps design, develop, and implement strategic plans to help our RESTORE Home work in a cost- and time-efficient manner Oversees the day-to-day activity for CARS, as well as developing future plans Serves as the leader of the organization, the face of the organization, under the supervision of the Board of Directors Work cooperatively with leaders of our local RESTORE ministries
Responsibilities:
Develops the program/discipleship curriculum that is specific, biblically- centered, trauma- informed, and evidence- based for substance abuse treatment Generates new revenue streams through fundraising while maintaining existing ones Actively participates in the development and adherence to program budgets ensuring maximum resource utilization and the achievement of goals Provides quality program services within established budgets Serves as liaison to town and county personnel Provides all documentation to comply with contractual agreements Participates in developing community relations and maintain a positive image of the program Assists in the acquisition and renewal of grants Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the funding sources Develops and maintains approved operations manuals Acts as liaison and point of contact for the various Restore Groups Helps Board in the work of acquiring our first RESTORE Home and the continual search for possible future sites Be knowledgeable of, and willing to assist in, fundraising for the organization NATURE OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Daily activities are performed independently with guidance and direction from the President/Chairman and Board of Directors.
The director will work independently toward attainment of operational goals and contract compliance.
He or she will meet with the President/Chairman bi-weekly and the Board monthly.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
