CFC Farm and Home Center is looking to add a team-oriented individual to our company! We are a local feed, seed, fertilizer, and retail business with seven locations throughout Virginia that have proudly served local farmers and members of the community since 1932.
Here at CFC, we strive to serve both agricultural producers and homeowners across Northern and Central Virginia.
We do this by manufacturing our own animal feed from locally sourced grains, offer services in agronomy and animal nutrition, and by providing a wide variety of products for all types of consumers.
Summary:
Are you an organized and meticulous individual? This may be the position for you! Receiving and Inventory Specialists manage and maintain inventory from the point of receiving all the way until an item is sold.
This role plays an important part in making sure our inventory is correctly entered into our point-of-sale system so that our Customer Service Representatives are able to quickly and accurately complete customer orders.
What to Expect:
This position requires tasks to be completed inside the retail store, in our warehouses, and outside on the property.
Responsibilities include:
Receive all store merchandise and confirm that it agrees with packing slips and purchase orders.
Review all invoices to ensure that the billing is correct:
work with vendors for corrections.
Properly code and price all merchandise before it is displayed Maintain accurate inventory records.
Enter reconciliation transactions to correct inventory.
Ensure that stock transfer tickets are correct and handled according to CFC procedures.
Maintain proper safety and housekeeping standards in the assigned work area.
Requirements:
Inventory experience Ability to lift up to 50lbs Strong computer and math skills Benefits and Perks:
